Hi!
My name is Shannon Walker
and I am delighted to be working at Journeys of
the Heart as the Domestic Adoption Coordinator.
I earned my Master of Social Work from the
University of Illinois at Chicago with a
concentration in Child and Family Services. In
addition, I am a Licensed Social Worker through
the State of Illinois.
Adoption has been a passion of mine for several
years. I have had the opportunity to work in
several adoption and foster care settings, which
has reinforced my enthusiasm and dedication in
helping children and families. I look forward to
supporting both birthparents and adoptive
families during their adoption journey. |
