From David and Shari's
Letter..."We
enjoy and look forward to spending time together as a
family.
It’s the simple things in life such as our night-time
walks, baking not-so-pretty cupcakes, reading books or
dancing silly around the house that are important to us.
We have always loved traveling together and gain
just as much excitement in planning our trip as we do
experiencing the new place we visit.
We also spend our time hanging out with our
families, friends and their children.
On any given weekend we’ll head to a park, the
zoo, a local museum, the swimming pool or take a walk
around the neighborhood for ice cream or a little
something sweet at the local coffee shop.
We look forward to the day when we can share
these experiences with your child.

of raising a child.
We dream every day of building our family and are
grateful for your consideration."

From Nate and Fumiko's
letter..."We
are truly excited about being able to pass on what we
value and cherish and to experience a lot of memorable
moments through raising a child.
Moreover, we are glad that open adoption can
allow us to share those memorable moments with you
through visits, letters, photos, and videos.
We feel fortunate that we can get to know you and
establish a life-long relationship with you.."

From Paul and Karen's
letter..."We
would want to raise our children the same way we
ourselves were raised, with the same core values and
beliefs: The value of family, the importance of being
kind, courteous, respectful, and always have a positive
outlook towards life. We would coach your child based on
love and understanding, with plenty of patience, a bunch
of laughs, and a good dose of humor. Comfort them on
difficult days, give smiles when there is sadness, big
hugs when spirits are low. We would always do our best
to be their role models."

From Mike and Julie's
letter..."We
have hope, however, and believe that we may one day be
blessed with a child, thanks to you, through this
incredible journey of adoption.
Please know that your genuineness, compassion,
and love for life will play a significant role in our
lives. We
thank you for choosing the gift of “life” for your
child! Through your genuine and courageous act of love,
our lives will
be changed forever!"

From Brian and Mary's
letter..."Family is everything to us. We spend
lots of time together. We even vacation together!
Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and birthdays are spent
filled with delicious food, fun, laughter and sharing.
Grandpa, Grandma, aunts, uncles and cousins are waiting
to welcome your child into our family. We cannot
wait to carve a Halloween pumpkin, fill his or her
Christmas stocking and color Easter eggs with your
child. Our families look forward to embracing your
child and welcoming them as our newest member."

From Mark
and Susie's letter..."We
are excited about adoption because we know that sharing
our love and our lives with a child will complete us as
a family and because it has always been our dream and
plan to live our lives for someone other than ourselves.
We know we can provide love and stability to a child and
will work hard to provide the opportunity for knowledge,
experience, fun, and kindness...."

From Chuck and Lisa's
letter..."Your
child raised in our home will experience individuality,
stability, fun, relaxation yet structure, and learning
through various venues.
We live on the island of Oahu, in a quiet
neighborhood that is only 10 minutes from the
cosmopolitan city of Honolulu and the fun, ever-famous
Waikiki.
Two of the state's top ten public schools and one of the
nation's best private schools are in our district.
There is a true sense of community and cultural
diversity in the islands and especially in our
neighborhood.."

From Mark and Meg's letter..."There
is so much we would like to tell you about ourselves to
help you in your decision, but most of all we want you
to know that we have more than enough love for your
baby. Our home is a safe, nurturing, and fun place
where all the kids like to play. We strive to have our
house be the one where the kids want to hang out, and
feel comfortable from the young years through the
teenage years. As we write this, we can hear Max and
his friends from school. We take turns playing with
them, doing crafts, and hanging out in the yard and
driveway with them. Throughout the day, we have heard
the basketball bouncing,
baseball bat hitting the ball, yelling, and laughing,
with the occasional request for snacks. It is the best
music to both of us."

From Dave and Maria's
letter..."We are two people who feel lucky to have found each other.
Our dream is to be parents and grow together as a family.
We love to laugh and have fun.
Our house is a place filled with love, and optimism, and
joy.
We are patient
and kind people who are looking forward to sharing our lives
with children."

From David and Kristie's
letter..."We
plan to provide an atmosphere of trust, love and support
in our home. This is done when parents put their
children first. We also feel that it is essential to
spend time together as a family. It is important to take
the time to help children develop their own talents and
interests, even if they are different than our own. We
look forward to outings as a family, coaching our
children in sports, attending recitals, starting our own
traditions, helping with homework and starting a college
fund, traveling and enjoying various other activities as
we help them grow."

From Bethany and Matthew's Letter..."Life
in our home: We do play dough, paint, go on picnics and
play at the park. We
ride bikes, read stories and run through the sprinklers.
We love spending time together as a family and
often have family movie nights with popcorn and pillows;
day trips to the beach or elsewhere for hikes and to
soak up the beauty; visits to the zoo, children’s museum
and art museum. We
are very active and love to play but we also love
relaxing together as we all cuddle up on the couch and
make up silly stories as a family or dance to our
favorite tunes. It
is important to us that our children have a life full of
fun and happiness, but we also want them to be kind,
generous, honest, hard working and respectful members of
society. ."

From Robert and Carrie's Letter..."We
know this is just a glimpse into our lives and that it
is very difficult for you to choose a family for your
child based on a few paragraphs.
We want you to know that your child will be loved
every day, tucked into bed every night, and given the
best opportunities to fulfill their own dreams.
We want you to be involved as much as you would
like. Your
child will always know their story, where they came
from, and that you loved them more than yourself.
We hope that we can have a relationship with you
that gives you peace with your decision..."

From Neil and Rebecca's Letter..."Our
passions…While Neil likes to work in the yard and read,
Rebecca likes to exercise and spend as much time as
possible with nieces and nephews. We both
spend a lot of time hosting our nieces and nephews at
our house, which has better prepared us to be parents.
Our nieces and nephews frequently refer to us as their
favorites because of the fun activities we plan for them
when they visit. A few of the fun activities
include tea parties, going to a movie, taking them to
the park for a picnic or walking our dogs. They
also look forward to returning the favor by helping us
when we are able to bring a baby home..."

From Ryan and Kimber's
Letter..."We
are so excited about the opportunity to grow our family
through open adoption - so are all of our friends and
family.
Please know how grateful we are for your amazing courage
and strength.
Love can be expressed in many ways and we
understand creating an adoption plan is rooted in love.
If you choose us, we promise to honor your gift
now and forever. Open adoption is beautiful.
We have seen its benefits first hand in our
cousin’s adoption and we are dedicated to it.
We will embrace you with open hearts.
And, let everyone know - from day one - how much
our child is loved by his or her birth family.
You will always be an important part of our
lives."

From Dawn and Mike's
Letter..."We
are fortunate that Dawn is able to work part-time from
home, which will allow her to be home with the children
all day and Mike has very flexible work hours and 4
weeks of vacation which leaves us with plenty of family
time. We are very close to our extended family and they
are very open and supportive to us building our family
through adoption.
Everyone is within driving distance, so we visit
often. As a
family we like to attend the local minor league baseball
games, zoo, and various festivals throughout the area or
just relax and enjoy our Sunday morning pancake
breakfast in our pajamas.
On weekends we visit with friends and their
children for play dates, go to museums, or just enjoy a
good cookout."

From
Rachel and Lew's Letter..."We feel so fortunate to have
a wealth of child-centered places close by (two
different zoos, a children’s museum, a science museum,
art institutes, and three really great children’s
theaters) and we visit them often. But we also know that
a lot of learning takes place in the little moments
throughout the day – learning to hold the door open for
older people, saying “congratulations” to the winner of
Go Fish, asking the butcher how big a tuna is, saying
thank-you to the teacher after skating lessons. We love
being parents. And we believe that childhood is a
precious time that passes quickly, so we treasure this
time together."

From Greg and Martina's
Letter..."We
want you to know that we will raise our children with
devotion, love and attention. It is our goal to be
involved in their lives in a meaningful way, by helping
him or her to develop confidence, individuality and
compassion. Most of all we want to be there for them to
provide a secure and safe environment in which they can
just be themselves and grow into the beautiful person
they were meant to be. We truly encourage your
involvement in an open adoption and please know that you
will always be honored in our home. We will embrace you
in our lives and your child will always know they are
loved by you."

From Tim and Devon's
Letter..."We
are very excited to adopt a child and look forward to
starting the next chapter in our lives. Early on
in our relationship we decided that if we were going to
raise children, we would grow our family through
adoption when the time was right. We have a very
strong marriage and feel we could provide a loving, safe
environment to raise a child. We have a solid
support system, rich with family and friends, and
believe we are at a point in our lives where we will be
good parents."
